Data Formatting

In this document, we explain how we format your data. We rely on your Airtable metadata to format them.

Date and hour

Your date will be shown exactly as in your Airtable. Indeed, we rely on your Airtable metadata to make sure we use the right format. There is no required action from you.

Get today's date

You can map our internal variable, today's date, to any Google Docs variable if needed. Then you can adjust its formatting.

Currency

Currency are automatically formatted based on your locale settings you choose in Typeflow.us. Choose it carefully to make sure it matches your need.

Other numbers

Automatically, numbers will have basic formatting. So all numbers will look like that: 20000.00.
If you want to apply formatting, you need to apply locale settings.

In my screenshot above, my locale setting is French.

If I apply a locale format to a number, then the number will look like to French format. If I don't activate that, it will look like 123456789.
